REV'IT! FPG055 PROTEUS PROTECTOR JACKET

Our lightweight & breathable Proteus protector jacket functions as an upgrade for the DIRT Series collection, which is worn under the jersey or various jackets we offer. Ideal stretch, ventilation, & armor allow you to ride protected on the trails less traveled. It’s constructed with a combination of densely woven Hicom mesh on the shoulders, a 2-way spandex mesh body, and PWR|Stretch mesh on the inner area of the sleeves. This combination provides optimal support, airflow, and flexibility. Furthermore, it features our award-winning SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 protection at the shoulders and elbows. It is also equipped with a SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector and SEESOFT™ CE-level 1 protectors at the chest. Thumb loops at the cuffs along with the stretch cuff will make sure the sleeves won’t slide when you’re putting them on or during riding.

SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 protection

The SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 protection is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising comfort, ventilation, or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrile and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE certified to the highest level (EN1621-2:2014 - level 2). In the case of severe angular impact, the individual memory foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area, and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. By applying a multiple-layer concept, REV’IT! has developed a flexible protector insert that performs consistently in all conditions.
